The Lodge

The Bubble Lodge at Ile aux Cerfs is located just off the East Coast of Mauritius in Trou dʼEau Douce on an iconic island, with a private beach area. This unique eco-accommodation consists of a self-contained transparent bubble-styled room set-up in the magnificent natural environment with luxury amenities and services to ensure you have a relaxing and tranquil holiday.

The Lodge offers individual ‘rooms’ within transparent bubble structures that provide great views with some overlooking the ocean and allowing guests to sleep under the stars at night. The rooms’ provide the comforts of a luxury hotel room but with the added element of the spectacular natural setting and privacy. Each bubble room is equipped with a spacious lounge area, a private bathroom though warm water shower facilities are outdoors, and sleeping quarters with a queen sized bed. All rooms have Wi-Fi, are air-conditioned, have a sun terrace and enjoy the services of a personal butler.

Guests are provided with a buffet breakfast in their room and dinner at the golf course club house and there are also several restaurants on the island for lunch, as well as bars. There is a daily maid service, a 24-hour front desk, free secured parking and free Wi-Fi in the rooms. There are several activities available including golf at the nearby championship level golf course, plus water sports like diving, fishing and canoeing for a fee.

The Lodge is situated just off the East Coast in Trou dʼEau Douce, in the largest lagoon of Mauritius. The uninhabited island is reached via a shuttle boat service from the mainland. Ile aux Cerfs is the largest of the islands found off the coast of Mauritius and is home to the world class championship golf course designed by Bernhard Langer and an adventure park. Guests are also close to the Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort & Spa and the Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, and there is also easy access to the two Sun Resorts properties of Long Beach and Ambre.
